In an extraordinary new book, photographer Jimmy Nelson has captured images of indigenous people from all over the world, including South America, Siberia, New Zealand and Africa. The pictures show ways of life that are fast disappearing. As Nelson himself says: "I wanted to witness their time-honoured traditions, join in their rituals and discover how the rest of the world is threatening to change their way of life forever."
The photographs are stunningly beautiful, and a superb website has also been created to showcase the images. It is well worth checking out. But beware, if you've only got a minute or two to spare. There's a huge amount to browse through and enjoy.
