Throughout history, islands have often served as convenient prisons, or places of exile. This past week we have featured two of these: Robben Island, in South Africa, and San Domino, in Italy. In today's flotsam we feature a third - Gorgona, off the Pacific coast of Colombia - which served as a prison between 1960 and 1984.
