A mysterious object has been spotted in Ligeia Mare, the polar sea on Titan, Saturn's largest moon. The object has been dubbed a 'magic island'. Scientists spotted the 'island' while looking through images taken by the Cassini spacecraft. They noticed it was not there in earlier images, and had disappeared from pictures taken a few days later.
There is considerable uncertainty about what the object might be, but theories raised so far include icebergs, waves and gas bubbling up from the sea bed.
